As part of letting the engineering professional know about some of the key initiatives that the Institution is working on, this is a specific section to provide updates and appropriate plans on each of the initiatives. Each of them provide a brief overview of the intent behind kicking off the initiatives and provides some background on how it has be fairing since its introduction. Any updates that are discussed and worked by the Institution and the Council, are then updated on a regular basis where you can be informed on each.

Unitech Engineering Degree Accreditation

Accreditation of your Engineering degree is very important, because if it is not accredited you may not be able to legally work as an Engineer, not only in your own country but in most countries in the World. Therefore the institution recognizes this and is helping the University of Technology in Lae to accredit it’s degrees.

Graduate Professional Development Program

Graduate Professional Development Program (GPDP) is a four year Program that all IEPNG registered Graduate undergo upon accepting by the Institute as a Graduate Member. Upon joining IEPNG as a Graduate member and getting accepted, a GPDP Log Book will be issued to the member (including the GPDP invoice) and it contains the Method, guideline and the process of using the Logbook and how to write up report.
